What pinion gear should I use on the ARRMA Limitless?

It depends on your motor and the track. A hotter motor (lower turns, higher KV) takes a smaller pinion; a tight track wants a lower gear than an open one. Start near the middle of the pinions the Limitless shipped with, run a few minutes, and check motor temperature before going up a tooth. The So Dialed Pinion Recommender gives a starting pinion for your motor where we have class data.

What is the internal ratio (transmission ratio) of the ARRMA Limitless?

The Limitless has an internal ratio of 3.31:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 3.31. With the stock 34T spur, a 12T pinion gives an FDR of 9.38 and a 24T gives 4.69.

How many teeth is the stock spur gear on the ARRMA Limitless?

34 teeth. Changing the spur moves every pinion's ratio at once; most racers leave the spur and tune with the pinion.

Out of the box the Limitless runs 2000 cst front, 2000 cst rear, on 6x1.3mm front, 6x1.3mm rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.

What springs does the ARRMA Limitless come with?

The kit springs are 35mm 6.6N (#330631) front, 40mm 6.6N (#330599) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.

What diff fluid does the ARRMA Limitless come with?

The kit diff fluid is 10,000 cst front, 10,000 cst rear. Thicker front adds steering on power; thicker center sends more drive rearward; thicker rear stabilizes the car under throttle.
