First, we’d like to thank you all for your continued support and your constant flow of suggestions and requests for the So Dialed RC Setup App. We support many types of racing (including types we’ve never done ourselves!), so we mean it when we say we need your ideas!
It takes a lot of time and effort to support so many different types of racers from all over the world, from off-roaders to on-roaders to drifters to drag racers to oval-ers (ovalists?) to speed runners. Everyone has their own needs, and we do our best to help all of you.
Please note, running the app isn’t free for us - every month we pay for servers and online services to keep So Dialed running smoothly, store your setups and your images, create pdfs, run calculations, and keep adding support for new cars. And, as more people use the app, those expenses go up.
Some of you may remember that we haven’t changed our prices since we launched our premium Sportsman plan in 2021. We know most racers don’t have a lot of extra cash to spend and want to keep their dollars “on the track,” and we try to support that by keeping our prices low.
However, like gasoline and burgers, the cost of servers has increased over the years, making it more expensive for us to maintain our services. We recently added ads to the free version of the app to help offset those costs.
So, starting August 5, 2024, we’ll raise the prices of our Sportsman plan, from $2.99 US to $3.99 per month, and $29.99 to $39.99 per year to help cover these expenses. We hope you’ll understand and continue to support us. Note: this price only applies to the RC Setup App, none of our other apps.
To keep things in perspective, our Sportsman plan still costs less than a set of tires per year, so it's still a bargain!
If you were thinking of upgrading to Sportsman or converting your monthly subscription to yearly, now is the perfect time to upgrade! Purchase Sportsman Yearly by Sunday August 4 to get our old price!
