On an RC car, the steering links (shown in red above) connect the drag link (aka center link) to the steering blocks.
Steering links are most commonly used to control the car's toe angle, but they are also be used for:
- Ackermann: adjusted by moving the inner or outer ends of the links forward or backwards (see below, or see our Ackermann article.)
- Bump steer: adjusted by moving the inner or outer ends of the links upward or downward (see below, or see our bump steer article.)
