neutral range

Learn about the neutral range setting on your RC car's ESC

Your RC car's neutral range (aka neutral band or dead band) determines how far back you can pull the trigger before the car starts to move. Some drivers find it feels comfortable to be able to pull the tigger a little before the car actually starts moving, so neutral range allows you to tune this behavior to your liking.

See our electronic speed controller article for other ESC settings.
