Tekno, bless their hearts, decided to improvise when they decided on a labelling system for their inserts. They use a system which is rather elegant, honestly, that allows them to show all 25 standard pill insert options on a grid with only 9 dots. By using two dots at once, they can designate "0.5mm" inserts, and a single dot for 1.0mm inserts (or center.) It's a little more complex than that when you get into the "1 out, 0.5 up" kind of inserts, but that's the gist of it.
However, as elegant as their system is, it isn't always super intuitive (we struggled with it ourselves for a while,) so we came up with this pill insert chart to help you remember where the pin will actually go when using Tekno inserts, or, if you know where you want the pin, it will help you figure out which Tekno insert to use.)
For instance, if you know you want a "1mm up, 0.5mm out" insert, you can just reference the chart to see you want the insert with one dot up AND one dot up and out. For the opposite side, just use the mirror image insert (where "out" is on the left instead of the right.) We hope this helps someone!
