Out of the box the NB48 2.1 runs 650 cst front, 550 cst rear (Tekno oil), on Tapered 3x1.3/3x1.6mm (#TKR6181) front, Tapered 3x1.2/3x1.6mm (#TKR6182) rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
What springs does the Tekno NB48 2.1 come with?
The kit springs are 70mm 4.92lb Orange (#6038) front, 83mm 3.59lb Yellow (#6032B) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
What diff fluid does the Tekno NB48 2.1 come with?
The kit diff fluid is 7,000 cst front, 7,000 cst center, 5,000 cst rear. Thicker front adds steering on power; thicker center sends more drive rearward; thicker rear stabilizes the car under throttle.
