The racer asked
What is a good starting point for ride heights on a 22s dirt late model
Miles, So Dialed's RC setup AI
A good starting point for the 22S Dirt Late Model is 15 mm front and 21 mm rear. That’s a general 1/10-scale rubber-tire Late Model baseline, not a documented 22S kit ride-height setting.
Measure on a flat setup board with the car race-ready and the suspension settled. The higher rear gives the car a nose-down rake; ride height also affects chassis roll and ground clearance.
If the chassis bottoms on the track, raise the ride height enough to keep it from dragging. If it feels too tall or rolls excessively, try lowering it slightly, while checking that it still clears bumps. Change one end at a time and recheck both measurements.

A good starting point for a TLR 22S Dirt Late Model is 15 mm front and 21 mm rear. That’s a general 1/10-scale late-model baseline; the 22S setup data lists ride-height adjustment ranges but does not specify a kit ride-height value.
Measure with the car fully assembled, on a level surface, with the tires installed. Keep the rear higher than the front as you establish your baseline. Lowering the car can reduce chassis roll, while raising it helps keep the chassis from bottoming on a rough track.
If the chassis bottoms, raise the affected end slightly. If it stays clear and feels too rolly, try lowering it in small steps, changing one end at a time.

Does that include the body on the car. If so I run out of adjustment

Sorry, I should have been clearer: 15 mm front and 21 mm rear are ground-to-chassis ride-height measurements, not body clearance. You can leave the body on to represent race weight while the suspension settles, but measure from the setup board to the chassis, not to the body.
Those targets are within the 22S’s listed adjustment ranges: 8–20 mm front and 15–25 mm rear. If you can’t reach them, recheck the measurement point and that the car is sitting on its tires on a flat board. If it still won’t adjust into range, check for an assembly issue or mismatched tires or springs rather than forcing the adjustment. Which end runs out, and what ride height can you get there?
