In the 1/12 2WD gp class, racers gear by final drive ratio: 6T and below near 3.67, 7.5–8.5T near 2.59, 13.5T near 1.72, 17.5T near 1.44. On the Prodigy 12's stock 68T spur that is about 19T for 6T and below, 26T for 7.5–8.5T, 40T for 13.5T, 47T for 17.5T. Tight tracks gear down, open tracks gear up. For a starting pinion matched to your motor, use the So Dialed Pinion Recommender with the Prodigy 12 selected.
The Prodigy 12 has an internal ratio of 1:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 1. With the stock 68T spur, a 22T pinion gives an FDR of 3.09 and a 56T gives 1.21.

The kit springs are 4.6 Green front, 2.7 Blue side. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
