On the X5B's stock 46T spur that is about 15T for 1800–2300 kV. Tight tracks gear down, open tracks gear up. The X5B has an internal ratio of 3.308:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 3.308. With the stock 46T spur, a 12T pinion gives an FDR of 12.68 and a 19T gives 8.01.

Out of the box the X5B runs 50 wt front, 40 wt rear, on 6 x 1.3mm front, 6 x 1.3mm rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
The kit springs are 5.3lb Yellow (#457-M) front, 3.8lb Yellow (#458-M) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
