The Xr5/Max/Max Pro has an internal ratio of 3:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 3. With the stock 60T spur, a 14T pinion gives an FDR of 12.86 and a 24T gives 7.50.

Out of the box the Xr5/Max/Max Pro runs 1000 cst front, 1000 cst rear, on 4 x 2mm front, 3 x 2mm rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
The kit springs are Med front, Med rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
