Out of the box the RC8 B4.1 runs 45 wt front, 30 wt rear (Team Associated oil), on 6x1.4mm flat (#81597) front, 6x1.5mm tapered (#81598) rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
The kit springs are 5.1lb White (#81223) front, 3.7lb Pink (#81233) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
The kit diff fluid is 15,000 cst front, 10,000 cst center, 10,000 cst rear. Thicker front adds steering on power; thicker center sends more drive rearward; thicker rear stabilizes the car under throttle.
