Out of the box the 8IGHT-E 4.0 runs 40 wt front, 25 wt rear (Team Losi oil), on 8 x 1.3mm (#243011) front, 4 x 1.2mm, 4 x 1.3mm (#243012) rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.

The kit springs are 4.8lb Green (#243016) front, 3.6lb Silver (#243019) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
