It depends on your motor and the track. In the 1/10 2WD touring/gt class, racers gear by final drive ratio: 13.5T near 9.80. On the SD3.0's stock 80T spur that is about 21T for 13.5T. The SD3.0 has an internal ratio of 2.6:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 2.6. With the stock 80T spur, a 17T pinion gives an FDR of 12.24 and a 28T gives 7.43.
How many teeth is the stock spur gear on the Yokomo SD3.0?
80 teeth. Changing the spur moves every pinion's ratio at once; most racers leave the spur and tune with the pinion.

What shock oil does the Yokomo SD3.0 come with?
Out of the box the SD3.0 runs 50 wt front, 50 wt rear, on 4x1.4mm (#Y2-S144A) front, 4x1.4mm (#Y2-S144A) rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
What springs does the Yokomo SD3.0 come with?
The kit springs are Comp 1.5x26.5mm (#D-184F) front, Prog 1.4x26.5mm (#D-182F) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
