Best setup for highest speed
Miles, So Dialed's RC setup AI
For a stock-geared Felony, start from the 16T pinion and 46T spur. To raise top speed, go up one pinion tooth at a time, or use a smaller spur if compatible. After each change, check motor and ESC temperatures; stop if they get too hot. The right gearing depends on your motor, ESC, battery, and running surface, so there isn’t one guaranteed “best” ratio.
For stability, use near-zero camber, slight toe-in under 2°, and carefully balanced tires. Lower the rear wing to reduce drag, but keep enough downforce to stay planted. For very high-speed runs, the setup guidance recommends foam tires above 130 mph.
