It depends on your motor and the track. In the 1/8 4WD buggy class, racers gear by final drive ratio: 1800–2300 kV near 10.06. On the S35-4's stock 47T spur that is about 15T for 1800–2300 kV. What is the internal ratio (transmission ratio) of the SWORKz S35-4?
The S35-4 has an internal ratio of 3.308:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 3.308. With the stock 47T spur, a 12T pinion gives an FDR of 12.96 and a 19T gives 8.18.
How many teeth is the stock spur gear on the SWORKz S35-4?
47 teeth. Changing the spur moves every pinion's ratio at once; most racers leave the spur and tune with the pinion.

What shock oil does the SWORKz S35-4 come with?
Out of the box the S35-4 runs 700 cst front, 550 cst rear (SWORKz oil), on 6 x 1.3mm (#330562A) front, 6 x 1.4mm (#330563A) rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
What springs does the SWORKz S35-4 come with?
The kit springs are 62mm US-3 dot 1.6x7.75 (#115183) front, 75mm M2-dot 1.6x9.25 (#115165) rear. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
What diff fluid does the SWORKz S35-4 come with?
The kit diff fluid is 7,000 cst front, 7,000 cst center, 3,000 cst rear. Thicker front adds steering on power; thicker center sends more drive rearward; thicker rear stabilizes the car under throttle.
