It depends on your motor and the track. In the 1/10 2WD buggy class, racers gear by final drive ratio: 6T and below near 9.40, 7.5–8.5T near 9.22, 17.5T near 6.48. On the 22 4.0's stock 78T spur that is about 20T for 6T and below, 21T for 7.5–8.5T, 29T for 17.5T. Tight tracks gear down, open tracks gear up. What shock oil does the TLR 22 4.0 come with?
Out of the box the 22 4.0 runs 32.5 wt front, 32.5 wt rear (Team Losi oil), on 2 x 1.6mm (#233009) front, 2 x 1.7mm (#233010) rear pistons. That is the kit setup; you will need to adjust it for your track conditions. The RC Setup App can help dial it in.
What springs does the TLR 22 4.0 come with?
