It depends on your motor and the track. In the 1/12 2WD gp class, racers gear by final drive ratio: 6T and below near 3.67, 7.5–8.5T near 2.59, 13.5T near 1.72, 17.5T near 1.44. On the X12 '21-'22's stock 80T spur that is about 22T for 6T and below, 31T for 7.5–8.5T, 47T for 13.5T, 56T for 17.5T. Tight tracks gear down, open tracks gear up. What is the internal ratio (transmission ratio) of the XRAY X12 '21-'22?
The X12 '21-'22 has an internal ratio of 1:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 1. With the stock 80T spur, a 22T pinion gives an FDR of 3.64 and a 56T gives 1.43.
How many teeth is the stock spur gear on the XRAY X12 '21-'22?

What springs does the XRAY X12 '21-'22 come with?
The kit springs are 1.8-2.0 Silver (#372187) front, 2.8C Black 3 dots (#378097) center, 0.9C Gold side. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
