In the 1/12 2WD gp class, racers gear by final drive ratio: 6T and below near 3.67, 7.5–8.5T near 2.59, 13.5T near 1.72, 17.5T near 1.44. On the X12 '26's stock 80T spur that is about 22T for 6T and below, 31T for 7.5–8.5T, 47T for 13.5T, 56T for 17.5T. Tight tracks gear down, open tracks gear up. For a starting pinion matched to your motor, use the So Dialed Pinion Recommender with the X12 '26 selected.
The X12 '26 has an internal ratio of 1:1. Final drive ratio = spur ÷ pinion × 1. With the stock 80T spur, a 22T pinion gives an FDR of 3.64 and a 56T gives 1.43.

The kit springs are 1.8-2.0 Silver (#372187) front, 0.6C Silver (#373584) side. Stiffer springs suit high grip and big jumps; softer springs add grip on slick or bumpy tracks.
