Good baseline setup

Assuming you’re running the Kyosho Inferno MP11e on dirt or clay, use this 1/8-scale 4WD buggy baseline: 23 mm front and 26 mm rear ride height, -3° front and -2° rear camber, 1° front toe-out, +3° rear toe-in, and 1° anti-squat. These are class baseline values; keep the MP11e’s kit settings for the rest to start.

The slight rear ride-height rake and rear toe-in help the buggy stay planted and drive straight, while the front toe-out helps it turn in. For a simple starting point, the MP11e kit setup lists 8 × 1.2 mm front pistons and 8 × 1.3 mm rear pistons.

Set ride height with the car ready to run, on a flat surface. If your track is carpet, astroturf, or especially rough, this dirt/clay baseline may not be the right starting point. After a few runs, change one setting at a time: if it pushes in corners, try a little more front toe-out; if the rear feels loose, add rear toe-in.
