Increase stability

Is your car wandering or getting out of balance through the bumps?  Try these approaches:

More impact

• Shock damping: lighter oil / larger/more piston holes
• Shock angle: inward at towers / outward at the arm
• Ride height: higher, sometimes higher in front than rear will help
• Caster: more
• Kick-up: more

Medium impact

• Camber: more
• Weights: lower center of gravity
• Wheelbase: longer at front / rear
• Tire inserts: softer, or with less reinforcement in the middle
• Bump steer: links more angled
• Tires: use ventilation holes
• Chassis/suspension flex: more

Less impact

• Diff fluid (gear diff): lighter / esp on 4WD center diff
• Anti-squat: less
• Rebound: less
• Shock type: bladder for low-speed bumps, emulsion for high-speed
• Anti-roll bar: thinner
• Droop: depends on the track - only testing will tell
